National Gallery 2004

It was proposed to install two new transfer trusses in the East and West walls of the main entrance area.  The spreader beams at ground floor level were constructed in reinforced concrete.  Sacrificial steel temporary stools were placed within the depth of the proposed beams to enable the reinforcement to be placed and the concrete beam to be formed.
